Day 1: Delhi to Agra – Arrival & Local Exploration
Your journey begins early morning from Delhi by private car. Enjoy a comfortable drive via Yamuna Expressway (approx. 3–4 hours). Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at your budget hotel and relax for a while. In the afternoon, visit the grand Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Mughal architecture. Later in the evening, explore local markets like Sadar Bazaar for shopping and street food. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 2: Taj Mahal Sunrise & Agra Sightseeing
Start your day early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, where the white marble monument looks breathtaking in the soft morning light. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), known for its intricate marble work. In the evening, enjoy Mehtab Bagh for a scenic sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. Day 3: Fatehpur Sikri Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day trip to Fatehpur Sikri (approx. 40 km), the former capital of the Mughal Empire. Explore Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Panch Mahal. Return to Agra by afternoon and relax. You can spend your evening at leisure or enjoy an optional cultural show like Mohabbat-e-Taj. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4: Agra to Delhi – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Delhi by car. En route, you may stop for refreshments. Reach Delhi by afternoon with beautiful memories of your Agra trip.
